Sol Passeio (formerly The Counting Method) is a small, personal tracker. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't track you across the web. Here's plainly what happens with your information.
What we store
- Your email, so you have an account and can sign in across your devices.
- What you create: the categories, activities, tags and log entries you add, plus any notes. This is your data; it's shown only to you.
- Your reminder preferences: whether you've turned reminder emails on or off.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (like the time of a request) that our hosting providers keep to run the service securely.
How we use it
Only to run the app for you: to save and sync your entries, and to send reminder emails if you turn them on. No profiling, no advertising, no resale.
Where it lives, and who helps run it
Your data is stored in a database provided by Supabase. A few other trusted services help the app run, and only ever see what they need to do their job:
- Supabase: database and sign-in.
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and its domain.
- Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google,” to confirm your email and sign you in. We only receive your name and email.
- Resend: sends the reminder emails, only if you've opted in.
We don't share your data with anyone else.
Your choices
- Turn off reminders anytime in the app (account menu → Notifications), or via the link at the bottom of any reminder email.
- Export your data anytime from the app as spreadsheet (CSV) files (Manage → Data).
- Keep backups: the app can save a backup of your data (Manage → Data), and saves one for you automatically before Clear history, before Erase everything and before a restore. A backup is a copy of your categories, activities, tags, history and settings, kept on our systems until you delete it, until it rolls off after your newest 20, or until you delete your account. Nothing is downloaded or uploaded. Restoring one replaces your current data with that copy.
- Delete entries, activities or categories: deleting an activity removes its logged entries with it, and deleting a category takes its activities along. It sits in Recently Deleted in the app for 30 days (so you can restore it), then it's removed from our live systems. The exception is any backup you keep in Manage → Data, which holds a copy until you delete it or it rolls off after your newest 20. Copies can persist in our private daily export copies for up to 90 days after that removal.
- Clear your history or erase everything: in the app (account menu → Account settings). Erase everything removes your categories, activities, tags, history and Recently Deleted in one step. What you remove leaves our live systems immediately. The exception is any backup you keep in Manage → Data (the app saves one for you first, before either), which stays until you delete it or it rolls off after your newest 20. Copies can also persist in our private daily export copies for up to 90 days.
- Delete your account and data: in the app (account menu → Account settings → Delete account), or email us. Everything is removed from our live systems immediately, including your backups. Our private daily export copies expire automatically within 90 days.
The demo
Cookies & browser storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to run the demo. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
This isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above.
